Green Awards

It’s that time of the year to nominate community members for Lafayette’s Awards of Environmental Excellence, more commonly known as the Lafayette Green Awards. To submit a Green Award nomination- please fill out this form. Nominations are due by March 8th. Green Awards recognize outstanding efforts that contribute to a more sustainable community and help the City achieve its environmental goals. Awards are chosen across six different categories: Residents, Local Businesses, Schools, Community Organizations, Green Building, and Youth. Sustainable Lafayette is partnering with the Environmental Task Force with a Lafayette Environmental Action Fellowship (LEAF) for the winner of the Youth Green Award. The recipient of the fellowship will be awarded $1k to execute an environmentally impactful idea that will benefit the community.
