The Lafayette Community Garden and Outdoor Learning Center is located at 3932 Mt. Diablo Boulevard (across from the Lafayette Reservoir) on land leased to the City of Lafayette by EBMUD.  Since opening on Earth Day of 2012, The LCC & OLC has grown to 80 family members and, in 2016, produced 2,700 pounds of organic vegetables using bio-intensive methods.

The Garden offers classes and workshops to community members of all ages through its education programs including a series of monthly adult courses, interactive intergenerational workshops, Native American immersion learning classes for children ages 8 – 11 and themed children’s classes in collaboration with the Lafayette Library and Learning Center. The Garden also has 15 chickens and a Nature Trail.
